I am originally from northern Minnesota, where I trained and raced sledddogs for a number of years. I graduated from Bemidji State University and worked as a substitute teacher for a few years. In 2017, I married my husband, Thad, and moved to Range, Alabama. As you can imagine, northern Minnesota is much different from southern Alabama. My hobbies have changed. I have traded sledding for agility training and snow for shorts in December! My husband and I enjoy fishing, working in our yard, visiting with family and spending time with our three very important dogs; Jake, Belle and Dobby. I enjoy teaching and could not see myself in any other line of work. My students are some of my biggest motivators and THE reason why I teach.
