| Monroe Academy PTA Newsletter December 2009 Thanks to many alumni, friends, and family, Monroe Academy PTA had another successful year! Your generous support and contributions are all directly impacting the faculty, facilities and the students at Monroe Academy. The 2nd annual Pheasant Hunt at Joel Cobb Farms was an exciting time for all our avid bird hunters! Thanks again to the hospitality of Cobb Farms, Ed Boyd, Hal Noble and Brett Loftin for all your hard work in creating a pleasant and safe hunting experience. Please continue to pass the word to all your hunting friends as this is a major fund raising project benefiting MA PTA. The generous donation of a beautiful Howa rifle provided an exciting raffle opportunity. The raffle generated over 230 ticket sales for anxious gun enthusiasts! The lucky winner was selected at the Clarke Prep vs. Monroe Basketball game on December 8. Our lucky winner was Mr. Bo Bishop of Monroeville! Happy hunting, Mr. Bishop and congratulations! Please continue to keep this organization in mind for thoughtful gifts in memory or in honor of a friend or loved one. Monroe Academy PTA is a 501-c tax exempt organization.
